The local VFW Post has a bingo hall on Long Point. The parking lot was full when I pulled in to snap these shots. It's delightful.

Taqueria Don Taco
Taco trucks, taquerias, Korean BBQ, and panaderias: these are the basic infrastructure of food on Long Point. We throw in the occasional pupuseria, burger joint, chicken shack, noodle house, or seafood place to keep it interesting. I like the paint job on Taqueria Don Taco, and I hear the food ain't bad either.

Spring Branch Jewelry and Loan
Just the giant sign is left now, the building got torn down last year. I remember somewhere it said "1967" but maybe I imagined that.

St Peter's Church
Built in 1848, now nestled between a used car dealership and the creek. The Whataburger is across the street.

Power Tires
The fiberglass bull at Power Tires is probably my favorite landmark along Long Point, so it has to be the first post. It apparently used to be the mascot of a restaurant back in the 1960s.
